Opportunities

The lab will not be accepting any new graduate students during the 2025-2026 admissions cycle, and since I have been granted sabbatical in Fall 2026 and Spring 2027, I will not have any room to take on any additional (volunteer) undergraduate research assistants until fall semester of the 2027-2028 academic year. Apologies that the lab is “full” right now, and that this timeline for recruitment is a bit more delayed than usual! But as always, if we get a new grant, I will post available paid positions (post-docs, OPS Research Assistants, etc.) on this page.

I do have one new project that I am looking for volunteers to join, involving studying human-AI joint decision-making. Specifically, we have written about how we think metacognitive sensitivity is a key component to establishing trust and reaching optimal joint decisions in this PNAS Nexus piece. Thus, if you have skills in building AI agents that can complete visual experiments, or have a background in computer science, LLMs, or other AI-related fields that you think might be relevant, please feel free to reach out to me at bodegaard@ufl.edu to chat more.
